• Leave the hotel by private car,
reaching Kom Ombo after one hour drive on the Upper Egypt Corniche
& across the countryside.
• Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo which stands on high grounds overlooking
the Nile. It differs from other temples by its double entrance, each of
which is dedicated to a divinity: "Haroeris" with his falcon head &
"Sobek" with his crocodile head.
• Although Kom Ombo is a small village, its importance lies in its huge
sugarcane plantations.
